We are very excited to welcome everyone to our Open Events on both our Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses, with the opportunities for campus tours, course talks, and a chance to chat with academics and current students.

On our Open Events you’ll be able to:

  • Explore our teaching facilities on a campus tour?
  • Ask questions to students in your subject area
  • Chat to the lecturers who will be teaching you
  • Hear about how courses are taught, assessed and what topics you will study?
  • Find out more information about applying, careers, student finance, and how we support our students
  • Learn more about getting involved with the Students’ Union and what activities they offer

Do I need to wear a face covering?

In order to protect yourself and our community, we advise that you?wear a face mask in all communal indoor spaces, talks, and sessions.?

Please continue to be considerate in your approach and respect the preferences of others, when it comes to wearing a face covering. It is important to note that some people are exempt from wearing face coverings. This can be for a wide range of reasons, including hidden disabilities.?There is no requirement for someone to carry an exemption card or badge if they do not wish to do so.

How do I book onto talks?

We will notify you when talks are available to book after you have registered for an Open Day.?

If you have already registered, head to your RSVP ticket to view all the sessions and talks available to you. Remember to look carefully on your RSVP ticket for the campus your session is being held at.?

You can view or edit your booking at any time by accessing your RSVP ticket. To change the subject area you've booked for, please email us at studyhere@chi.ac.uk.

If the talk you're interested in is full, please do come along as there may be some spaces available on the day. You will also be able to speak to our teaching staff one-to-one throughout the day.

Not sure which course or subject talk you need to book onto? No problem - we have mapped it all out?so you can choose the best talks for you.

What is the timetable for the day?

You can view and book talks in your RSVP ticket. We will also post a programme out to you the week before the Open Day (20 November event), This will also be included in an email before you arrive. Please do read it?carefully as it contains all the information you need including where to register, parking, campus maps, accommodation and campus tours and much more. If you received the programme in the post, please bring it with you on the day.

Can I park on campus?

Yes, car parking will be available on a first-come first-served basis on both campuses and is free on our Open Days. For your sat nav, use the following information

  • PO19 6PE (Bishop Otter campus, Chichester)
  • What3words.com (Bognor Regis campus, Tech Park entrance, Felpham Way)

If our car parks are full when you arrive, there are public car parks located close to our campuses:

  • PO19 1BJ (Northgate car park, Chichester)
  • PO21 1BA (London Road car park, Bognor Regis)

We advise you use Google Maps to direct you to the campus on foot from the car parks. Use PO19 6PE for Chichester and head up College Lane to the main entrance (you'll see a roundabout on campus in front of a white building).

For Bognor Regis, use PO21 1HR. You'll see a small roundabout in front of you, keep walking down until you arrive at the Learning Resource Centre where our?staff will be able to direct you to where you need to go.

Can I travel between campuses?

We ask that where possible you drive between campuses.

If you are not coming by car, there will be a free intercampus bus. Just show your RSVP ticket to the driver as this will allow free travel for you and your guest.

The bus timetable can be seen as a PDF and will be included in your programme.?
